Our Health classes cover the three areas of health - social health, mental/emotional health, and physical health. Students acquire knowledge regarding proper nutrition, eating disorders, stress management strategies, goal setting, and social skills. We have several different Physical Education classes. The first PE class is mainly a freshmen level class which is Team Sports. The focus of this class is learning about different team sports as well as the aspects of team culture. The sophomore PE class is Lifetime Activities. Through Lifetime Activities, students learn physical activities that they will be able to do for the rest of their lives. After completing those two courses, students have a choice of taking Advanced Sports, Personal Training and Fitness, or our new class offering, Outdoor Activities.
